StatSleuth ("we", "our", or "the app") is a baseball guessing game developed by Lucas Azzopardi. This policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and your choices.

Data We Collect

StatSleuth is designed to work without collecting personal information. Specifically:

• No account required. You do not need to create an account to play.
• No personal data collected. We do not collect your name, email, location, or any other personally identifiable information.
• Game progress is stored locally on your device only, using Apple's standard storage APIs.

Game Center

StatSleuth integrates with Apple Game Center for leaderboards and achievements. If you are signed in to Game Center, your Game Center alias and scores may be shared with Apple. Please refer to Apple's Privacy Policy for how Game Center data is handled.

In-App Purchases

Purchases are processed entirely through Apple's App Store. We do not receive or store any payment details. Purchase receipts are validated through Apple's StoreKit framework on-device.

Analytics

We do not use any third-party analytics or advertising SDKs. We may review aggregated, anonymous App Store analytics provided by Apple (e.g. number of downloads, crash reports) to improve the app.

Third-Party Services

Player statistics are sourced from the MLB Stats API (statsapi.mlb.com), a public API. No personal user data is sent to this API.

Children's Privacy

StatSleuth does not knowingly collect data from children under 13. The app does not require any personal information to use.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Changes will be reflected on this page with an updated date. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
