NRFI Predictor is built with your privacy as a priority. This app does not collect, store, or share any personal information. This privacy policy explains what limited data is used and how.
Information We Collect
We do not collect any personal information.
NRFI Predictor does not require you to create an account, log in, or provide any personal details to use the app.
Data Stored on Your Device Only
The following information is stored locally on your device using Apple's standard UserDefaults system and never leaves your device:
- App open count — used solely to determine when to show an App Store review prompt
- Purchase status — whether you have an active Pro subscription or Lifetime pass, managed entirely by Apple's StoreKit framework
- Favourite teams — your selected favourite MLB teams, stored locally for display preferences
- Onboarding status — whether you have seen the introductory screens
Third-Party Services
Apple
NRFI Predictor uses Apple frameworks that operate under Apple's own privacy policies:
- StoreKit — handles all in-app purchases and subscriptions. We never see your payment information. All billing is managed directly by Apple. See Apple's Privacy Policy.
- WeatherKit — used to fetch weather conditions at MLB stadium locations. Requests are made using your device's connection but no personal location data is collected or stored. See Apple's WeatherKit documentation. Legal attribution.
MLB Stats API
Game data, pitcher statistics, and team stats are fetched from the official MLB Stats API (statsapi.mlb.com). This is a public API. No personal information is sent as part of these requests.
The Odds API
If the game totals (O/U) feature is enabled, game odds data is fetched from The Odds API. No personal information is sent as part of these requests. See The Odds API Privacy Policy.
Analytics and Tracking
NRFI Predictor contains no analytics, no tracking, no advertising SDKs, and no third-party data collection of any kind. We do not use tools such as Firebase, Mixpanel, Amplitude, or any equivalent service.
Children's Privacy
NRFI Predictor does not knowingly collect any information from anyone, including children under the age of 13. The app contains sports betting analysis content intended for adults.
Data Retention
Since we do not collect personal data, there is nothing to retain or delete. The small amount of data stored locally on your device can be cleared at any time by deleting the app.
Changes to This Policy
If this privacy policy changes, the updated version will be posted at this URL and the "last updated" date will be revised. Continued use of the app after any changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
